TIP 5: Establishing TREE-AVAX Concentrated Liquidity Pool on Avalanche

Overview

This proposal seeks community approval to establish a TREE-AVAX Concentrated Liquidity Pool on Blackhole within the Avalanche network, designed to provide deep and efficient liquidity for TREE on Avalanche.

In addition, this TIP requests an allocation of 20,000 TREE from the Liquidity Provision portion of TREE’s token allocation to seed initial liquidity for this pool.

Motivation

As Treehouse expands the tAsset product suite to Avalanche with tAVAX, there remains no native liquidity pool for TREE on Avalanche. This means Avalanche users cannot currently acquire TREE directly on their home chain, limiting their ability to participate in governance activity.

Establishing this pool will:

  • Enable users on Avalanche to swap TREE directly with AVAX and vice-versa, increasing accessibility and liquidity depth, ultimately deepening ecosystem participation.

  • Support users who wish to participate in liquidity pools to earn TREE emissions, as outlined in TIP 2.

  • Position TREE more deeply within the Avalanche DeFi ecosystem, creating opportunities for future integrations with protocols and liquidity venues.

This initiative connects the Avalanche user base more tightly with TREE, deepening participation across the ecosystem.

  • Pair: TREE / AVAX

Seed Liquidity:

  • Amount Requested: 20,000 TREE

  • Source: Liquidity Provision portion of TREE’s token allocation

  • Destination: 0xc8D20524D80F3d9e47Fcf578d629A833D7900973

  • Mechanism: TREE will be paired with AVAX to bootstrap the pool’s initial liquidity.

Implementation

  1. Collaborate with Blackhole to configure and deploy the TREE-AVAX Boosted Concentrated Liquidity Pool.

  2. Allocate 20,000 TREE from the Liquidity Provision portion of TREE’s token allocation to the designated multi-sig wallet address.

  3. Pair TREE with AVAX and deploy liquidity to the pool.

  4. Publish pool address to the Governance Forum for transparency.

Next Steps

  1. Gather community feedback on this proposal.

  2. Escalate to Snapshot for formal vote.

  3. If approved, proceed with pool deployment and liquidity seeding on Avalanche.
